Mission, Formation & Impact

Building disciples. Equipping leaders. Restoring communities

An assembly of disciples anchored in Christ.

The House of Eden™ exists to form disciples of Jesus Christ who remain rooted in His Word, dependent on the Holy Spirit, devoted to prayer, and connected through authentic Christian community.

As disciples are formed, they are equipped to lead, serve, steward, witness, and participate in the restoration of their families, workplaces, churches, schools, neighborhoods, and communities.

Our Foundation

Jesus Christ is the foundation of this House.

“For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ.”

1 Corinthians 3:11

Everything within The House of Eden™ begins with Christ, is formed through Christ, and exists to point people back to Christ.

We remain anchored in Him by abiding in His Word, depending on Him through prayer, walking in step with the Holy Spirit, and growing within His Body.

How Disciples Are Formed

Anchored in Christ. Formed through Scripture, prayer, the Holy Spirit, and authentic Christian community.

Scripture

We continually return to the Word of God to know the Father through His Son, recognize His voice, renew our minds, discern truth, and learn how to live faithfully.

Prayer

Prayer is not merely preparation for the work. Prayer is part of the work. Through prayer, we abide in Christ, submit our plans, intercede for others, and learn to pray in agreement with God’s Word.

The Holy Spirit

We depend on the Holy Spirit to teach, guide, convict, comfort, empower, and form the character of Christ within us.

Christian Community

We grow within the Body of Christ, where disciples are known, encouraged, challenged, prayed for, held accountable, and equipped to serve.

Our Mandate

Remain in Christ. Bear lasting fruit. Make disciples.

Jesus did not call us merely to gather people, distribute information, or develop programs. He called us to make disciples.

We teach people how to remain anchored in Christ by continually returning to His Word, walking in His Spirit, growing within His Body, and faithfully responding to what He teaches.

Everything within The House of Eden™ exists to build disciples, equip leaders, and participate in the restoration of communities through Christ.

The Problem We See

Many people have learned how to achieve, perform, lead, produce, and survive, but have not been deeply discipled into spiritual maturity, identity, wisdom, stewardship, and responsibility.

As a result, families are strained, leaders are burned out, young people are searching for identity, men are seeking brotherhood, women are carrying burdens alone, and communities are filled with gifted people who are not always anchored in Christ.

We are here to address the root — the heart — not only the visible symptoms.

Our Response

Formation over information.

Information may increase what a person knows, but discipleship transforms who a person is becoming.

We believe formation occurs as people encounter Jesus through Scripture, respond to Him in prayer, surrender to the work of the Holy Spirit, practice obedience, and grow within authentic Christian community.

As disciples become more like Jesus, they begin living differently in their homes, workplaces, churches, schools, businesses, neighborhoods, and communities.

Transformation precedes restoration.

Our Mission

The House of Eden™ exists to build disciples of Jesus Christ, equip leaders for Kingdom service, and restore communities through Christ-centered discipleship, leadership development, prayer, Scripture, authentic Christian community, and faithful stewardship.

Our mission is not simply to develop leaders. It is to cultivate disciples who carry the light and character of Christ into their families, workplaces, churches, schools, communities, and future generations.

Our Rhythm of Formation

From the foundation of Christ, every doorway follows the same rhythm: Behold. Belong. Become. Build. Bless. Witness.

Behold

We fix our eyes on Jesus before we lead, serve, build, speak, or move. We begin in His presence, return continually to His Word, and seek His will through prayer.

Belong

We grow within authentic Christian community where people are seen, known, encouraged, challenged, prayed for, loved, and held accountable.

Become

We surrender to the Holy Spirit and allow Him to form the character of Christ within us so our lives increasingly reflect His fruit.

Build

We help disciples discover and faithfully steward their gifts, calling, purpose, leadership, and place within the Body of Christ.

Leadership is stewardship.

Bless

We carry what God has formed in us into our homes, churches, workplaces, schools, businesses, neighborhoods, and communities in service to others.

Witness

We point others back to the true Vine — Jesus Christ — through how we live, lead, steward, serve, and make disciples.

Our Values

Presence Before Performance

We believe lasting fruit begins by abiding in God’s presence, not by striving in human strength.

Formation Before Influence

We believe character, identity, wisdom, and spiritual maturity must be formed before influence is expanded.

Discipleship Over Information

We do not simply provide content. We cultivate spaces for biblical formation, obedience, accountability, maturity, and growth.

Stewardship Over Ownership

We believe gifts, leadership, influence, opportunities, relationships, and resources are entrusted by God and must be stewarded faithfully.

Restoration Before Expansion

We believe what is wounded must be prayerfully addressed and restored before it is multiplied.

Legacy Over Recognition

We build with future generations in mind, not for personal applause or temporary recognition.

Our Leadership Filter

Everything we build must answer one question.

“How does this build disciples, equip leaders, and restore communities through Christ?”

If it advances the mission, aligns with Scripture, and reflects the character of Christ, we prayerfully build. If it does not, we prayerfully wait.

Mission always comes before opportunity.
