Mission, Formation & Impact

Building disciples. Equipping leaders. Restoring communities

An assembly of disciples anchored in Christ.

The House of Eden™ exists to form disciples of Jesus Christ who remain rooted in His Word, dependent on the Holy Spirit, devoted to prayer, and connected through authentic Christian community.

As disciples are formed, they are equipped to lead, serve, steward, witness, and carry the character of Christ into their families, workplaces, churches, schools, neighborhoods, and communities.

Our Foundation

Jesus Christ is the foundation of this House.

“For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ.”

1 Corinthians 3:11

Everything within The House of Eden™ begins with Christ, is formed through Christ, and exists to point people back to Christ.

Why Formation Matters

The problem we see.

Many people have learned how to achieve, perform, lead, produce, and survive without being deeply discipled into spiritual maturity, identity, wisdom, stewardship, and responsibility.

The result can be gifted people carrying influence without formation, leaders serving from exhaustion, young people searching for identity, men longing for brotherhood, women carrying burdens alone, and communities in need of disciples who are truly anchored in Christ.

We believe lasting restoration begins at the root.

Our Response

Formation over information.

Information may increase what a person knows, but discipleship transforms who a person is becoming.

We believe formation occurs as people encounter Jesus through Scripture, respond to Him in prayer, surrender to the work of the Holy Spirit, practice obedience, and grow within authentic Christian community.

As disciples become more like Christ, transformation begins to affect their homes, relationships, leadership, workplaces, churches, schools, businesses, and communities.

Transformation precedes restoration.

Our Mission

Building disciples. Equipping leaders. Restoring communities.

The House of Eden™ exists to build disciples of Jesus Christ, equip leaders for Kingdom service, and participate in the restoration of communities through Christ-centered discipleship, prayer, Scripture, authentic Christian community, leadership development, and faithful stewardship.

Our mission is not simply to develop leaders. It is to cultivate disciples who carry the light, character, wisdom, and love of Christ into the places and people God has entrusted to them.

Our Rhythm of Formation

Behold. Become. Belong. Build. Bless. Witness.

From the foundation of Christ, this rhythm describes how disciples are formed within The House of Eden™.

Behold

We fix our eyes on Jesus before we lead, serve, build, speak, or move.

We continually return to His presence, His Word, and prayer.

Become

We surrender to the Holy Spirit and allow Him to form the character of Christ within us.

Before focusing on what we will do, we attend to who we are becoming.

Belong

We grow within the Body of Christ where disciples are seen, known, encouraged, challenged, prayed for, loved, and held accountable.

Build

We discover and faithfully steward the gifts, responsibilities, leadership, influence, and assignments God has entrusted to us.

Leadership is stewardship.

Bless

We carry what God has formed within us into our homes, churches, workplaces, schools, businesses, neighborhoods, and communities in service to others.

Witness

Through how we live, love, lead, serve, steward, and make disciples, our lives point others back to Jesus Christ.

Behold Him. Become like Him. Belong to His Body. Build what He entrusts. Bless others. Witness to Christ.

What Guides Us

Our Values

Presence Before Performance

Lasting fruit begins by abiding in God’s presence, not striving in human strength.

Formation Before Influence

Character, identity, wisdom, and spiritual maturity matter more than visibility or platform.

Discipleship Over Information

We do not simply provide content. We cultivate spaces for biblical formation, obedience, accountability, maturity, and growth.

Stewardship Over Ownership

Gifts, leadership, influence, opportunities, relationships, and resources are entrusted by God and must be stewarded faithfully.

Restoration Before Expansion

We believe what is wounded should be prayerfully addressed before it is multiplied.

Legacy Over Recognition

We build with future generations in mind, not for personal applause or temporary recognition.

Our Leadership Filter

Everything we build must answer one question.

“How does this build disciples, equip leaders, and restore communities through Christ?”

If it advances the mission, aligns with Scripture, and reflects the character of Christ, we prayerfully build. If it does not, we prayerfully wait.

Mission always comes before opportunity.
