Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of this website and your participation in offerings, gatherings, programs, resources, and experiences provided by The House of Eden™.

By using this website or voluntarily participating in an offering of The House of Eden™, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms.

1. Purpose

The House of Eden™ is a Christ-centered assembly of disciples providing faith-based discipleship, Bible study, prayer, spiritual formation, mentorship, Christian community, leadership development, service opportunities, educational experiences, and related ministry activities.

Our mission is to build disciples, equip leaders, and participate in the restoration of communities through Christ.

2. Offerings Covered

These Terms may apply to participation in or use of The House of Eden™, including:

  • Around Our Father’s Table™
  • The Violet Hour™
  • A.D.A.M.™ — Advancement & Discipleship of Anchored Men™
  • E.V.E.™ — The Empowered Violet Experience™
  • Prayer gatherings and community outreach
  • Mentorship and discipleship experiences
  • Workshops, retreats, conferences, trainings, and events
  • Volunteer and service opportunities
  • Educational resources, curriculum, downloads, and digital content
  • Partnership, sponsorship, and other ministry-related activities

Certain offerings may also have additional registration terms, participation agreements, releases, policies, or guidelines. If additional terms apply to a specific offering, those terms will supplement these Terms.

3. Christian Faith-Based Content

The House of Eden™ operates from a Christian worldview grounded in the Bible and centered on Jesus Christ.

Offerings may include Scripture reading, biblical teaching, prayer, intercession, Christian discipleship, spiritual formation, reflection, mentorship, service, and discussion of faith, stewardship, discernment, leadership, and Christian living.

Participation is voluntary. Individuals from different Christian traditions are welcome to engage respectfully within the biblical foundation and spiritual culture of the House.

4. No Professional or Clinical Services

Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing, The House of Eden™ does not provide psychotherapy, licensed mental health counseling, medical treatment, legal services, financial planning, tax advice, or other licensed professional services.

Prayer, mentorship, discipleship, biblical teaching, spiritual encouragement, leadership development, workforce-readiness education, and community support should not be treated as substitutes for appropriate professional care or advice.

When professional assistance is appropriate, participants are responsible for seeking advice from qualified and appropriately licensed professionals.

5. Personal Responsibility

Participants remain responsible for their own decisions, actions, relationships, health, wellbeing, employment, education, finances, ministry decisions, business decisions, and other personal circumstances.

The House of Eden™ does not guarantee any particular spiritual, emotional, relational, educational, employment, professional, financial, leadership, ministry, or other outcome from participation.

6. Participation & Community Standards

Some gatherings are public, while others may require registration, an introductory conversation, application, invitation, approval, consent, or additional documentation.

Participants are expected to engage with honesty, respect, appropriate boundaries, and consideration for the wellbeing and dignity of others.

The House of Eden™ reserves the right, to the extent permitted by law, to decline, limit, suspend, or discontinue participation when reasonably necessary to protect safety, confidentiality, community integrity, program purpose, or the spiritual culture of a gathering.

7. Confidentiality & Personal Sharing

The House of Eden™ seeks to cultivate spaces of trust, prayer, care, and respectful community.

Participants are expected to respect the privacy of personal stories, prayer requests, testimony, and sensitive information shared by others.

However, The House of Eden™ cannot guarantee that another participant will maintain confidentiality. Participants should use appropriate discretion when deciding what personal information to share.

Additional confidentiality guidelines may apply to invitation-based gatherings, mentorship relationships, or other specific experiences.

8. Minors & Young Participants

Certain offerings, including some E.V.E.™ experiences, may include participants who are minors.

When applicable, participation may require parental or legal guardian permission, emergency contact information, releases, partner-organization approval, or additional safeguarding procedures.

Requirements may vary depending on the participant's age, the type of activity, whether the experience is virtual or in person, and the requirements of any participating school, church, organization, facility, or community partner.

9. Photography, Recording & Media

Certain public events, workshops, conferences, outreach activities, or other gatherings may be photographed, recorded, or documented.

When appropriate, separate notice, permission, or media-release consent may be requested before an individual's name, likeness, image, voice, testimony, or personal story is used.

Private or confidential gatherings should not be photographed, recorded, streamed, or redistributed by participants unless permission has been expressly provided.

10. Payments, Events & Refunds

If a workshop, retreat, event, conference, resource, or other offering requires payment, the applicable price, cancellation terms, refund policy, or transfer policy may be stated at the point of registration or purchase.

Unless otherwise stated in writing, payment does not guarantee a particular result or outcome.

If specific event terms conflict with this general section, the written terms provided for that particular event will control with respect to that event.

11. Donations & Charitable Giving

Contributions made to support The House of Eden™ are voluntary and should be used for the purpose described in the applicable solicitation, campaign, or giving opportunity.

Unless expressly represented otherwise in writing at the time of the contribution, The House of Eden™ makes no representation through these Terms that a contribution is deductible for federal or state tax purposes.

Donors should rely on the information provided with the applicable solicitation or contribution receipt and consult their own qualified tax professional regarding their individual circumstances.

12. Intellectual Property

Except for Scripture quotations, third-party materials, licensed content, stock photography, trademarks owned by others, and other materials expressly identified as belonging to another party, original content created for The House of Eden™ may be protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws.

This may include original written content, curriculum, program materials, graphics, designs, frameworks, teaching materials, videos, downloads, photographs, presentation materials, and other original creative works.

Protected materials may not be copied, reproduced, republished, distributed, sold, modified, presented as another person's work, or commercially exploited without permission, except as otherwise permitted by law.

13. Names, Marks & Ministry Brands

The House of Eden™, Around Our Father’s Table™, The Violet Hour™, A.D.A.M.™, Advancement & Discipleship of Anchored Men™, E.V.E.™, The Empowered Violet Experience™, and associated original branding, names, designs, and materials may be proprietary or otherwise protected intellectual property.

Nothing on this website grants a license or right to use any protected name, mark, branding element, curriculum, or proprietary material except with prior permission or as otherwise permitted by law.

14. Website Use

Users may not knowingly use this website or its forms, resources, or systems for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, harassing, disruptive, or unauthorized purposes.

Users may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to website systems, impersonate another person, submit materially false information, interfere with website functionality, or misuse protected content.

15. Third-Party Platforms & Links

The website and ministry experiences may use or link to third-party services such as video-conferencing platforms, registration forms, payment processors, donation platforms, email services, social-media platforms, or other external resources.

Third-party websites and services operate under their own terms, privacy policies, security practices, and availability.

The House of Eden™ does not control and is not responsible for the independent practices or content of third-party providers.

Information submitted through this website is also subject to the The House of Eden™ Privacy Policy.

17. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, The House of Eden™ and its leaders, volunteers, facilitators, mentors, speakers, contractors, advisors, partners, and representatives will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar damages arising solely from use of this website, reliance on website content, or voluntary participation in House offerings.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive, disclaim, or limit liability where doing so would be prohibited by applicable law.

18. Availability & Changes to Offerings

Gatherings, programs, schedules, facilitators, locations, formats, curriculum, participation requirements, and other offerings may change, pause, expand, or be discontinued.

The House of Eden™ does not guarantee uninterrupted access to any particular gathering, program, website feature, or resource.

19. Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time.

When material changes are made, the effective date displayed at the top of this page may be updated accordingly.

Continued use of the website or voluntary participation after revised Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms to the extent permitted by law.
