Built Upon Christ.
Rooted in Scripture. Sustained through Prayer. Formed by the Holy Spirit.
“For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ.”
1 Corinthians 3:11
An assembly anchored in Christ.
The House of Eden™ is not a denomination, and this page is not intended to serve as a denominational doctrinal statement.
We are an assembly of disciples anchored in Jesus Christ. These Scriptures reflect the biblical convictions that shape how we gather, disciple, pray, serve, lead, and steward the work entrusted to us.
Jesus Christ is the foundation of this House.
The House of Eden™ was not built upon personal philosophy, cultural trends, ambition, performance, influence, or human wisdom.
Jesus Christ is the foundation of this House.
Everything within The House of Eden™ begins with Christ, is formed through Christ, and exists to point people back to Christ.
We remain anchored in Him by abiding in His Word, depending on Him through prayer, walking in step with the Holy Spirit, and growing within authentic Christian community.
By wisdom a house is built.
“By wisdom a house is built, and through understanding it is established; through knowledge its rooms are filled with rare and beautiful treasures.”
Proverbs 24:3–4
Scripture identifies Christ as the wisdom of God. We therefore seek to build nothing apart from Him.
This House is established through surrender, obedience, Scripture, prayer, discernment, stewardship, and the grace of God.
Rooted in the Word. Devoted to Prayer.
Scripture and prayer are not secondary activities within this House. They are foundational practices of discipleship.
The Word of God
“Sanctify them by the truth; Your word is truth.”
John 17:17
Through Scripture, we come to know the Father through His Son, recognize His voice, renew our minds, discern truth, and learn how to live faithfully.
We do not merely read the Word for information. We study it, obey it, live it, and pray it.
Prayer
“And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests.”
Ephesians 6:18
Prayer keeps us dependent upon Christ. Through prayer, we submit our plans, intercede for others, seek God's direction, and bring our lives into agreement with His will.
Prayer is not merely preparation for the work. Prayer is part of the work.
Go and make disciples.
“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
Matthew 28:19–20
Jesus did not merely command His followers to gather crowds, build organizations, distribute information, or accumulate influence. He commanded us to make disciples.
The House of Eden™ exists in response to that mandate: to build disciples, equip leaders, and participate in the restoration of communities through Christ.
Apart from Him, we can do nothing.
“I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in Me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing.”
John 15:5
Spiritual fruit is not produced through striving, performance, or self-reliance. It is produced by remaining in Christ.
We continually return to His Word, remain devoted to prayer, walk in His Spirit, and remain connected to His Body.
Led, taught, and formed by the Spirit.
“But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.”
John 14:26
We depend on the Holy Spirit to teach, guide, convict, comfort, empower, and form the character of Christ within us.
Spiritual formation is not achieved through human effort alone. It is the ongoing work of the Holy Spirit within surrendered disciples.
We are formed in community.
“They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.”
Acts 2:42
Disciples are not formed in isolation. We grow within authentic Christian community where people are known, encouraged, challenged, prayed for, held accountable, and equipped to serve.
God is our refuge and strength.
“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.”
Psalm 46:1
The House of Eden™ seeks to cultivate spaces of spiritual nourishment, refuge, discipleship, restoration, and formation — places where people can return to Christ, be strengthened in Him, and be sent back into the world as His witnesses.
Christ before everything.
Methods may change. Programs may grow. Assignments may shift.
The foundation does not change.
Jesus Christ remains the foundation, the true Vine, the Head of His Church, and the One to whom this House belongs.
